I’ll be speaking with Greg Cocks who’s co-owner of www.SynergyMortgageGroup.com based out of Hamilton Ontario. I’ve asked him to help me peel back a few layers of one of the main pillars of real estate investing, which is lending and financing. In every purchase it is crucial to get the proper financing financing, understand what lenders are looking for, and help position or leverage yourself properly to help you acquire your next real estate acquisition and return on your investment. Not everyone has the same goals (I understand that) and although getting the best rate is important, getting the best rate doesn’t always mean your best option. Its important to find a bank or broker or even private lender that will fit your needs, and aligns with your game plan moving forward – so position yourself properly and grow your wealth over time!
NOW…. for all you First Responders out there listening to this… we are in a GREAT position to obtain financing. So get your self financially disciplined, and don't be scared to enter the market or get that first or second rental property. I will harp on this until I’m blue (no pun intended) – but if all you do moving forward is acquire one or two rental properties during your years of your service, I GUARANTEE you’ll build wealth and secure yourself financially way ahead of most in society, and even your co-workers around you come retirement…and beyond. DO-NOT-RELY-ON-PENSIONS-ALONE.
Lastly, even if you’re close to retirement and have equity in your home, there are so many options out there that can help you grow financially, and increase income too. Get exposed, weigh your options, and do the numbers…. then make a decision and take action. Being stagnant and relying on one source of income (your pension) for your retirement is a big mistake in my opinion. If you’re reading this I believe you feel the same. So lets build wealth together, and support our own…
